They are delivered to your browser only so the pages can run — that does not grant any right to copy, reuse, redistribute, or re-host them, in whole or in part. What's original
- Game rules and mechanics — the type wheel, Momentum, Wild Strike, Combo Strikes, and The Reckoning are an original design, not adapted from another game.
- Character glyphs and card art — hand-drawn inline SVG icons, not stock assets or third-party artwork.
- Sound — every sound effect and ambience (rain, campfire, hearth, wind, crickets, all card-play cues) is synthesized live in the browser via the Web Audio API. No sampled or licensed audio is used anywhere on the site.
- The Duel Hall logo — generated artwork commissioned for this project, then hand-processed (background removed, resized) for use as the site's icon and wordmark.
- Character backstories — original short fiction written for this project; see each character's story from the type-wheel page.
Third-party services
- Fonts: Cinzel, Archivo, and JetBrains Mono, loaded from Google Fonts under their respective open licenses.
- Sign-in, database, and hosting: Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore) and Google Cloud Platform. Duel Hall isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
